Is the Higher Temperature the Better Drying Effect? NO!

In the drying field, is the higher temperature, the better drying effect? NO. Drying at a temperature of 100°C may not have a high drying efficiency, while drying at a temperature of 70°C may not have a low drying efficiency.

First of all, the purpose of our drying is to remove the moisture inside the material. Therefore, under the condition that the material is in the same environment, such as air humidity, ventilation, placement, etc., the higher the drying temperature, the speed at which the material is dehydrated. However, if the drying environment changes, the drying efficiency will also change.

Different drying equipment have different drying efficiency, because the thermal efficiency and drying mode of different equipment are different. Drying temperature is not the only factor that affects drying efficiency, but system design is the key to drying. If the drying system is unreasonable, no matter how high the drying temperature is, it may be of no avail.

The most important is the choice of drying equipment. Drying machines with different heat sources will definitely have different drying efficiency. The most traditional method is natural drying, but it will be affected by the external environment. If the material is naturally dried at 40°C, it will take 20 hours, but if it is placed in a heat pump drying room, the drying time may be reduced to 15 hours.

The second is the design of the drying room, drying capacity must be matched with heat pump drying machine. In addition, factors such as the choice of circulating air method and fan type, as well as the way of dehumidification, will affect the time and efficiency of material drying.

To sum up, there are many factors that affect the drying efficiency, drying temperature is only one of them.
